HR and payroll training topics

We agree the scope of the workshops before the training to meet the team's real needs. The most frequently chosen thematic blocks:

  • Keeping personnel files in parts A, B, C and D.
  • Working time records and settling overtime (art. 149 of the Labour Code).
  • Salary calculation, payroll, ZUS (social security) contributions and PIT advances.
  • Leave, sick leave and absences in practice.
  • Employment contracts, mandate contracts, annexes and terminations, changes in the regulations.

Workshop format, practice instead of theory

We run the training as workshops: using examples from the participants' documentation, with time for questions and their own cases. We put forward a strong claim, most HR mistakes come not from not knowing a regulation, but from a lack of routine in applying it. That is why we practise specific tasks: labelling a file, calculating leave entitlement, determining a declaration deadline.

Online and on site in Poznań

We choose the format to suit the topic and the number of participants. Documentation workshops usually work better on site in Poznań and the surrounding area; regulatory updates and short training can be delivered online. After the sessions we provide materials and checklists.

Related services: labour law advisory, HR administration and HR audit for companies that want to tidy up their documentation after the training.

Frequently asked questions about the training

What topics do you run HR and payroll training on?

We run HR and payroll workshops and labour law training: keeping personnel files, working time records, salary calculation and payroll, settlements with ZUS and PIT, leave and absences, and changes in labour law. We tailor the programme to the industry and the participants' level.

Who is the labour law training for?

We address the training to employers, managers, HR and payroll specialists, and people starting to keep employee documentation. We agree the scope before the training to meet the team's real needs, from the basics to advanced cases.

Can the training be tailored to my company?

Yes. We run the training as workshops tailored to the company, using examples from your documentation and processes, with an emphasis on practical labour law issues. We set the programme and duration individually.

Is the training held online or on site?

We run training on site in Poznań and the surrounding area, as well as online. We choose the format to suit the number of participants and the topic, documentation workshops usually work better on site, while regulatory updates can be discussed remotely.

Who runs the training?

The training is run by a practitioner with many years of experience in HR, payroll and labour law (since 2002), handling companies' payroll and HR services on a daily basis. As a result, the training is based on real cases, not on theory alone.

Do participants receive materials after the training?

Yes. After the training we provide materials and checklists covering the topics discussed, e.g. a list of personnel files documents or declaration deadlines. The scope of the materials depends on the workshop topic.

How much does HR and payroll training cost?

The cost depends on the topic, the format (online/on site), the number of participants and the duration. We use individual quotes. Get in touch, stating the topic and the number of people, we will prepare a programme and a free quote.

Do participants receive a certificate of completion?

Yes. On request we issue certificates confirming participation in HR and payroll training or a labour law workshop, with the scope of the topics discussed. The document is useful for the file of the employee responsible for HR and payroll.
